Alexander Mcqueen was born in 1969 as the joungest of six children. He left school at the age of 16 to take the opportunity and of an internship in the fashion industry. Since leaving St. Martins and in less than 10 years McQueen has become one of the most famous and respected international fashion designers in the world, earning award after award. Alexander McQueen's collections are known for both the emotional power and raw energy of his shows as well as the romantic but determinedly contemporary nature of this clothes.
January 2006 sees the birth of "McQ - Alexander McQueen", a denim-based ready-to-wear line under a new label.
